HOW TO FIND LOVE IN A TRAIN STATION?
An old couple plotting ways to get
their luggage on the train as soon it reaches the station.
Worried about the one minute halt,
they grade their oil-stained cardboard boxes by weight,
to see which ones should be pushed in
first.
They train themselves to act swift in
that one minute the train stops.
The bags are heavier than their age,
but they don't seem to care.
They push it one after the other,
helping each other to climb;
counting the boxes once again, making
sure they haven't missed any.
As the train moves, they happily wave
back at a child who randomly waves at the train, holding the boxes closer and
grinning at their success.
A young couple whose hands are locked
at the door,
making sure they miss each other till
they meet again.
A brother who reaches just in time to
hand over a box of his sister's favourite sweet so that she misses home a
little less.
A girl who jumps out once the train
jolts a start,
looking clueless as she says, she
messed up the date and laughs as stars fall from her eyes.
When the wait tells you so many
stories,
what does the journey await?
