ROM-COMS & PEARLS OF WISDOM

                     Rom-coms and Pearls of Wisdom

During these jobless days of mine I have been watching quite a lot of television, a tit for tat ,for these six years of no t.v and just college. That time had it’s own perks. Now this has become the time for the rom-coms, sitcoms, songs and shows which I couldn’t catch up with, all these years. Not to be misunderstood as “ohh she was so studious and into her work that she couldn’t watch any”, absolutely not. But this new era which has begun in my life should be dealt with a lot of optimism or else your mind gets ready to be pushed down the edge and later will be seen fighting depression. It is a lot of pressure to handle. So this pact of optimistic thought process being brought up has given a new face to this hard time. The revelations are plenty, as you got nothing but thinking happening in you all the time. So that has led to the understanding that these thoughts are not to be shooed away as silly, rather deserves limelight or just light at least.

I had started this with me watching t.v, movies in particular. It so happened that I watched the movie ‘The Intern’. These movies come as a package. They are inspiring, humorous and moreover there is always some thing to take home with.  The feel good factor prevails and makes you want to watch it even more. The plot revolving around a successful working mother, a stay at home dad and an intern who joins her company. The little pearls of wisdom this slightly old intern gives is the take away. All empowerment, love and trust apart, my personal favourite was the one when Ben, the intern, cites why men should carry a handkerchief. It’s because women cry, you hand your hanky to the welled up eyes and score! There is no sexism involved as women can also do the same( hankies are to be offered). It is humane to be emotional and it is necessary to respect thy emotions. If a hanky can render that then, actions definitely speaks louder than words.
